Preoperative Coronary Angiography

Class III

• Patient with known CAD scheduled for low-risk surgery and no high-risk after non-invasive testing
• Asymptomatic post CABG patient and >7 METS of exercise capacity
• Mild stable angina
• Non-candidate for myocardial revascularization
• <40 years of age and during workup for transplantation of other organs, unless non-invasive tests are positive for CAD
